Tracey Lawrence is a digital artist specializing in design and production for print and multimedia applications.

She also provides training in these areas. Through her company, Graphic Detail, Inc., Tracey offers services on a consultation basis. She strives to give small businesses a bigger, more polished appearance.

Tracey holds a Master of Science in Digital Imaging and Design from New York University where she learned motion graphics, broadcast design, editing and compositing. She also teaches prepress, production, and project management classes, and designs custom programs for her clients. A talented photographer and videographer, she brings her own unique eye to her work. She runs the public access cable TV station for her town, maintaining the bulletin board, airing meetings and producing programs concerning her community. Her hands-on use of applications in real-world situations gives her a distinct advantage over many other trainers.

In 2001, Tracey was honored by the Association of Graphic Communications as Instructor of the Year.

Tracey is highly proficient in all of the Adobe Creative Suite 4 applications. She also works in Final Cut Studio 3 to edit video and produce video and has a good grasp of DigiDesign ProTools (and Soundtrack Pro) for sound editing and design. She has produced beautiful interactive DVDs in DVD Studio Pro as well. Tracey's knowledge of Macintosh computers is legendary, but she is conversant in Windows too.
